This week I worked on an applique frog quilt.  I echoed the applique/embroidery work and did a water fill pattern in the background with light blue thread.  I crosshatched the purple borders with a bright purple thread and did another water fill in the green border with a green varigated thread.  The quilt came out marvelous and looks like water.
