I am putting on the label on the carpenter’s star quilt that I have made as a wedding gift for a special friend, Janique.  She asked for white, gray and brown in her quilt.  It was a challenge!!  Now that it is finished, I think the results are spectacular.  Trying to do the same pattern on cream or beige would have given it a monotone and the contrast of the chocolate on the white is crisp and modern.

I also going to use this pattern in my November to February Quilt Club.  I will be writing directions and figuring yardages for a couple sizes of quilts for students to choose from.
