This was a commissioned quilt for a preteen daughter.  The client brought over fabric that she had bought “years ago” and had intended to make her daughter a quilt.  I gladly accepted the project.  The quilt top is designed to match the quilt that she had done for her son.  The quilting is an all over pattern with butterfies and flowers and showed up well against the solid blocks.  I love using variegated threads and I got my chance to use a King Tut that included purples and hot pinks.  This quilt is cheery and perfect for her daughter.
