This fun monkey quilt is all flannels and so soft and cuddly.   The quilting pattern gives it additional interest without taking over the quilt but best of all, the quilt made it to the baby shower on time and with a binding!  Babies and baby showers do not wait for quilters!  My only regret is not holding the baby in the quilt. . . . . hmmmm  maybe I should offer a discount on my quilting for that?
