There is so much to say about this quilt!  I originally was inspired to make this quilt because I had won the selection of yellow fat quarters in a drawing and they were a perfect combination with denim for a bright look.  I was teaching a denim quilt class at the time and used the denim and yellow fabric as class examples as I made the quilt with the class.  I had finished sewing all the blocks together before loosing momentum on the quilt.  It became the GREAT UFO, needing to be clipped to finish the ragging process.  It then became the example for a series of private lessons that I did with a teenage girl learning to make a quilt.   I actually didn’t get the clipping finished until the quilt was sold for a Christmas present 2012.
