One of the amazing things about quilting is how color choices can totally change the look of a quilt.  Here are two quilts made from the same pattern; one in crisp white and bright lavendesr and the other in a subtle cream, dusty greens and shades of brown.  Both had similar edge to edge quilting, however, the edge to edge designs were chosen to compliment the prints on the fabrics.  For example, the cream fabric had a tone on tone leaf print.  The edge to edge design is also a repeating maple leaf.  The floral quilting design on the lavender quilt mimics the flowers found in the print of the fabrics.  Both quilts had solid neutral backings which showcases the quilting pattern.  The same but different quilt.  Which is your favorite?
