Had a Quiltabulous Retreat this past weekend in Las Vegas, NM.   Food, fun, walks, quilting, shopping, wine tasting, friends and even a little sleeping.

I finished putting together the Civil War quilt top with the 12 inch blocks from my Underground Railroad class.  I am so excited because I used a pattern that I designed on  EQ7 and fabric that I shopped for while I was in Paducah!   I can’t wait to get it on the frame this summer!

I also got a good start on my sample quilt for my Flip Flop Fun class at the end of the month.  I had wanted to do a quilt in hot pinks and tropical colors but when I went through my stash and built my color palette, I ended up with Bright Orange and Lemon Yellows! It’s going to be so bright and fun!  I can’t wait to finish it.

Its catch up time at Ideal Stitches this week as I prep for Book & Block class and Longarm Club this weekend.
