I originally started the blue and green quilt as a sample quilt for a baby quilt class I had planned to teach.  A client commissioned me to make a “girl” quilt so that they could be bought and given to a family that had fraternal twins.

I chose the same quilting pattern of leaves and curls but used different color variegated threads on each quilt.  Yellows for the pink quilt and greens for the blue quilt.   As soon as class was finished the quilts were shipped across the United States.  It was a perfect similar but the not the same gift for the babies!
