Can you see the dragonflies?  They are in both the sashing fabric and in the quilting pattern.  I used a variegated thread and a dragonfly edge to edge design.  I  love the pieced back and how the quilting design shows up so well against the purple fabric.  Again, this is a very traditional pattern made new by the use of contemporary batik fabrics.
