Recently I was given a Focus Postcard (see pic) for a conference in January 2014. My first thought was how much the graphics looked like a quilt. When I shared the postcard and the quilt idea with my daughter, K. she told me that I was obnoxious and that I see quilts everywhere. Did I tell you that she is a teenager? Then she challenged me to make it into a quilt, so of course I had to take the challenge. The result is the mini quilt, 8 inches x 5 inches shown above. I was amazed with the result. It came out fantastic! I gifted it at the conference to someone who knows both myself and my daughter.
