So I finished my zippered leaders and they are great!  It puts my OCD to rest having zippered leaders for my batting bar.   Part of making the zippered leaders is to serge all the edges of the canvas before putting in a one inch casing on one side and sewing on the zipper on the other.   So to start this project I pulled out my serger and changed the threads (why is it that the serger always has the wrong color threads loaded when I pull it out?) and serged six leaders.  By now you are asking why the title of my post is “Serger Happy Dance”.  It’s because when I finally use my serger for anything, I have to do the Serger Happy Dance.
