It’s fun to match the quilting to the personality of person receiving the gift.  This quilt was made for a groom and his bride by a close friend of his family.   The groom has always loved pirates and we chose a wavy pattern to represent the high seas.  I found out later that the bridal party wore “dress pirate” clothes.   Perfect!
