This quilt was made by me for a very dear friend that was recently diagnosed with cancer. She is a cat lover and the black cat fabric in the border was the perfect touch.  I found an edge to edge pattern that featured cats and I just knew it would be just right for this quilt.  The backing is a polar fleece in her favorite color and the cats stand out marvelously.  I did a two toned binding; coral and yellow on the back and black on the front.  She was so surprised when I gave her the quilt the day before her first procedure.
