Laura and I are seated on the second floor of the George R Brown Convention Center with the vendor floor behind us.  The vendor floor is 29 aisles of shopping extravaganza and the quilt display area is about 25 aisles.   It took 2 and half days to see all the vendors and a full day to see the quilts.  I came home with a much lighter pocketbook and an extra suitcase full of treasures including a quilters charm bracelet, novelty sewing clock for the studio, thread, patterns, rulers and clamps.  The quilts were spectacular and I am inspired to push my quilting to new heights!  My camera is full of fabulous pictures.    I also took 4 longarm classes with Claudia Pfeil, Dusty Farrell and Myrna Ficken.   Topics included Borders, Feathers, Thread Painting and Modern Quilting.  I can’t wait to load my samples from class on my longarm and finish practicing my new techniques.   Most of all was the fun and laughter shared with dear friends, Laura, Ruth, Beth and Diane.  What an amazing trip!
