Cats and Scraps

This quilt is the Cat’s Meow!  Cute panels framed and set in with coordinating scraps.  This is a super size king with multiple borders.  I used a golden poly that looked like a metallic thread.  I outlined the cats in the panels, ditched the frames, free motioned balls of yarn and meandering over the scraps and first border, did a curl that resembles a cat’s tail in the second border, and enlisted the help of Mickey (my robotics) for the outer border.  I used a “Cats at Play” motif.  Truly a cat lover’s quilt!
