Anyone for a Sunday Drive?   In this striped panel quilt I got to play with my digitizing software.  I broke apart a chain of cars and trucks into individual motifs us in the larger area.  I quilted a curvy strip and dropped the vehicles on both sides of the center line to break up the straight print and contrast the small scale.  In the colored stripes I shrunk the panto and found I had to alter the density and stitch length so I could quilt the chain in a one inch strip.  I used a dime in the close up photos to show how small the cars and trucks really are.  I love how each quilt comes with new challenges and techniques!
