Kathy’s Scrap Quilt

Fun Pattern!  This pattern was designed by a local quilt teacher and as you can tell it became all the rage!   I wanted to group these quilts to show how one pattern can be done so differently.  Each piecer kept the background light but imagine bright squares on a black background, or shades of red on a denim blue background,   One of the pictured quilts has a quaint classic feel, another has Oriental fabrics with silver and red metallic shine, and yet another is brightly colored.  Each is quilted with a different motif from meander, to flowers, to paisley.   What colors and patterns would you choose for a zig zag quilt?
