Sizzling Sunshine

This is the second of two quilts made by a grandmother and finished for wedding presents for her two grandsons who are currently 9 and 11 years old.  Talk about not procrastinating.  I was honored to do the quilting on this blooming nine patch king size quilt.  Using purple thread, I quilted circles of all sizes across the quilt which gives it great texture.
