Birch Tree

When I am looking for what to quilt, often I take my inspiration from the fabric.  The backing is a lime green batik with a dragonfly print.  Using a variegated thread on on the top and blender in the bobbin, I quilted an all over dragonfly pattern which looks incredible against the thin vertical strips.
