I wish you could touch this quilt!  It is made for a baby boy who was born blind; every fabric has a different texture.  I included terry cloth, satin, denim, velvet, and minke to name a few.  I learned at the fabric store that some fabrics look like they have texture only to find out by touching them that they are flat.  Because they don’t know if he has any vision, I choose high contrast, bright, solid colors.   The binding has a rick rack trim and the backing is a red fuzzy soft minke fabric, every thing chosen with him in mind.
