A few years ago I taught a flip flop quilt class and made a yellow and orange flip flop quilt which I called Sizzling Hot Flip Flops.  It went on to show in 5 national quilt shows.  It now hangs in my studio and prompted a new customer to commission me to make another for his daughter as a Christmas gift.  I had a lot of fun shopping for new oranges and yellow fabrics as my stash had been depleted with the last quilt.  I loved the yellow gold fabric in the border and backing; especially how it showed off the beachy flip flop quilting pattern.
