I knew when I started the flip flop yellow quilt that I was going to have a huge amount of left over fabrics from the applique flip flops so I bought additional border, sashing and background fabrics and made another flip flop quilt at the same time.   This one with a bright orange border.   I used the beachy flip flop pattern and it shows well on the pale yellow backing.  I planned all along to give it to my niece who kept threatening to take my Sizzling Hot Quilt because she liked it so much.   She was so surprised when she came for her last visit and now my Sizzling Hot Quilt is safe!
