This sensational Christmas quilt uses a tessellation pattern.  Look closely and you will see that the background is in the shape of an upside down Christmas tree.  So the question is if the quilt is white snow covered trees on a background of holiday fabrics or holidays trees on a snow covered background?   You decide.   I quilted swirls and bright stars with a gold metallic thread and the effect is magical.
