The best part of this quilt is that the woman who pieced it told me that her husband loves to just look at all the different designs made up by the shape of the blocks.  Can you tell he is an engineer?  So while I had a whole different idea on how to quilt it, the request was for straight line quilting and ditch quilting so that it didn’t limit all the optical viewpoints.   I do like how the border compliments the rest of the quilt but isn’t a duplicate to the quilting in the center.
