It takes three to make a quilt this beautiful.  The blocks were pieced by a dear friend before her death, and then pieced together by another sweet quilter.  It was then given to me to quilt.  I used a star design in the white background to reflect the starts on the black fabric and feathers in the border.  What a legacy!
