The customer thought the gray back ground was too “blah”.  So I loaded thick orange thread and quilted daisy chains to frame the pieced blocks.  It went from  “blah” to “wowza”  I love the quilted texture in the orange border and the subtle vine pattern quilted in the outer border.   Great use of color and fabrics on this quilt!
