This gem of a quilt only measures 30 inches by 30 inches!  Ironically enough the time I spent quilting this beauty was 30 hours.   Much of the work is “behind the scenes” such as stitch in the ditch, marking the spacing in the border and sashing and using a curved ruler to get the perfect arcs, but the result is incredible!  The blue squares look like nuggets of turquoise in a southwest desert!
