Beautiful fabric with a sad story.  When this piecer bought this fabric,  she was travelling with her husband and visited a local quilt shop along her travels.  He was sitting on a bench outside waiting for her as she shopped.   She fell in love with this fabric and bought yardage and excitedly showed her husband her treasure in the car.  At that instant, the shop next door blew up and took bench and adjoining wall of the quilt store with it.   She told me it took her ten years to be able to sew with the fabric.     The flower blocks have a custom motif and the lattice has free motion vines.  The result reminds me that beauty and come from tragedy.
