Believe it or not the burgundy fabric is not the backing but instead it is a wide 14 inch border around the scrappy patchwork blocks. I love the dimension that the poly puff batting brings to the quilt. It is one of the quilters dream battings that I carry at Ideal Stitches and I have grown to love the lightweight puffy feel of a quilted that is quilted with this batting.
