What an incredible project to be a part of. This woman’s parents both were working on a quilt top with the 54-40 or fight blocks but it was not finished. At this time there are 9 grandchildren so we made 9 wall hangings of three blocks. I used grandmothers fabric for the sleeves, and an eggshell white fabric for the sashing, border, binding and backing. It was the perfect palette for hand guided feathers. What an incredible gift.
