This was an appliqued top that has been patiently waiting to be quilted since the 1960’s. It did have a very, very faint pre printed quilt design for hand quilting that I used for my inspiration for free motion quilting. I added a dense background fill to bring out the feathers. Hours and hours of ruler and free motion work but it is well worth it.
