Number two in the Urban series is photographed with the quilting lines running vertical. As I mentioned before all the blocks are from one piece of fabric and indeed all three quilts are from the same fabric line. A stack n whack technique of cutting identical pieces from repeats of the printed pattern is used to create these kaleidoscope blocks. On this quilt I marked one inch increments and used my channel locks to create straight horizontal quilting lines. Coming up next, quilt number three.
