Frosty Christmas Trees

Frosty Christmas Trees

These three quilts were a year in the making! I started out with a pile of Christmas fabrics and a bolt of shimmery frosty white background fabric. Slowly but surely, I made block after block in red, gold and green color waves. I knew I had enough fabric to make a surprise Christmas quilt for each of my daughters. I quilted them with the same blowing snow edge to edge pattern, however, each has a different color binding. I made custom quilt labels and wrapped all three in one box for Christmas morning. The girls couldn’t understand how they could have one present under the tree when they each live in separate household. They were surprised and delighted when they opened the package.
