This fun block of the month was a cheerful recovery quilt for me. After making all the blocks, I had a major surgery and was put on lifting restrictions. I was able to piece and make the quilt top during my medical leave and put this on the quilt frame on my return to normal activities. Seven days on the frame with pale lavender thread and this quilt is magnificent. Surgery was 100% success and so is the pink handiwork quilt!
