Pictures did not do this quilt justice. I used a peachy gold thread for the curls in the sashing and for the feathers in the pink border. I used a black thread to outline the scrollwork in the border and the hand appliqued blocks. I finished with a background fill in the black fabric that let everything else pop up. Just gorgeous!
