Besides being so soft and cuddly, minke backings are incredible for showing the quilting patterns. This charming little baby quilt was a collaboration between a quilting friend and myself to give to a young couple that I work with, who are expecting their first child. So, in a sense, the front of the quilt was a gift from my girlfriend and the back was a gift from me.
