The Upholstery Quilt turned out FABULOUS. Check out the photos in the gallery. 

It weighed 15 lbs but it felt so much heavier.   The top is quilted in a smokey monofilament. It blended well with the busy fabrics and brought texture to the plain fabrics. The quilting pattern is an all over curled feather.   The stitching shows up very nicely on the backing which is a lighter weight upholstery fabric.   The bobbin thread was a polyester thread the same color as the fabric.  When the light shines directly on it, the pattern on the fabric stands out, and when the light is indirect, the quilting pattern stands out.
