Baby Layer Cake

Also in the quilt world, a stack of 10 inch blocks is called a “Layer Cake” and this is how this quilt got it’s name.  These blocks were sewn on point and then a border was added.  Even the set in triangles were from the Layer Cake, as they were just cut diagonally.  Cute and simple pattern and a great way to use a Layer Cake that is in your stash.
