Not your traditional colors for a bear! Using the traditional bear claw blocks as a border is magnificent. I took it a step further by quilting pebbles in the square portion as the pads and claws in the triangles. I did thread sketching in the bear itself to add a dimension of realism to the collage of flower fabrics that make up the bear. Background swirls finish this art piece.
