Looking at this wall hanging is like peering through a cabin window into the forest beyond. I used woodgrain quilting on the frame to mimic rustic timbers, straight-line quilting on the windowpanes for a clean, structured effect, and outline quilting in the aspen grove to add depth and movement. The layering of textures turned a flat, two-dimensional piece into a three-dimensional scene full of life. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the finished result!
