This quilt began with four friends and a stack of 3-yard bundles, each tucked into its own bag. We picked, swapped, and traded until everyone had their bundle of choice. When the quilt top was complete, my sweet friend wasn’t quite happy with how the lighter fabrics looked. That’s when I stepped in—using the boldest, thickest teal thread, I stitched life and energy into every section. The transformation was incredible, and when she saw it, her disappointment turned into pure joy.
