This grandmother was so excited to make a coordinating quilt for her grandson’s first roommate in college. Proof positive that quilters want to blanket the world in love.

Each quilt brings a new challenge. This quilt was out of square so the quickest solution was to remove the borders, remeasure and reapply them. It turned out fabulous. I used a variegated thread on the back and now both sides are a delight to behold.

Petals are found in the name of the quilt pattern, the floral fabrics and the dogwood quilting design. Blooming Beautiful!

This is a found and finished quilt. The piecer picked up this project which only had a handful of finished blocks and took it to completion. I added quilting with gold thread and its ready to be bound and displayed!
