I can’t decide whether I like the color combination of mint green and purple or the floral lavender border better. All together this makes for a spectacular quilt.
Instead of an edge to edge, I quilted a border-to-border floral design and set off the white border with a vine in green thread. I think this counts as having a green thumb, don’t you agree?

This Blitz quilt was a blast to quilt. Lots of ruler work and pebbles but well worth it. Wish I could have convinced my client to donate it to Ideal Stitches!
When I was told to do something celestial or space oriented, I knew I had the perfect pattern for this quilt. The crescent moon shapes give curves to the straight-line piecing and bring a bit of the night sky to this quilt.
The solid lines of fabric remind me of ribbons which inspired me to quilt it with a “ribbon rose” quilting pattern. Fun and bright, this quilt is sure to delight!
Second in a trilogy of quilts for three daughters, this one has daisies to celebrate the favorite flower of this customer’s daughter. The blocks are pieced with pieces of fabric saved from children’s clothes. I am so pleased to be a part of this legacy.
