As I finish up two memory quilt tops, it occurs to me that this is a project that combines memories from the past with future memories.  Each of the blocks carries layers of memories but now that they are bound in a quilt, they will be making new memories as the quilt is passed on.

For me as the quiltmaker, the quilt will leave me with memories.  Memories of the process of making the quilt and memories that I attach to the blocks and quilt.
