This quilt has very similar blocks, the difference being the childrens clothes I had to work with.  This daughter’s favorite color is blue and I used a deep blue in the sashing, backing and binding.  This family loves to do fireworks and I was able to quilt a fireworks pattern using monofilament on the the front and metallic gold thread on the back.  It came out fabulous.  I think the pictures do not do the quilts justice.
