Modern Trees

What a fun modern quilt.  This was a quilt as desired project and I had a blast doing the quilting.  The strips in the center are ditch stitched and then the background is quilted with sets of double lines that repeat the layout of the strips.  Some very slightly angled and some at a considerable angle.  Around the outside, I did a big loop-little loop pattern reminiscent of the circular printed trees on the fabric.  The contrast of the lines and the loops was perfect for the quilt.
