I feel like a pirate with my loot. I had a lot of fun shopping the vendors at the Houston Quilt Show. Most of my purchases were on my list for Ideal Stitches but I found a few treasures I just couldn’t pass up.
Although it wasn’t on the list, a clock for the studio has become a necessity. This novelty sewing clock is perfect and looks great! I admit it was my impulsive purchase for the trip but worth every penny!
I started a quilting charm bracelet this trip. I think getting a new charm will become a favorite tradition at all of the quilt shows.
I love putting swags in borders and couldn’t wait to get the 5 inch templates. I admit the Dusty templates are a splurge but know they will be used. I enjoy ruler work and have a great collection of long arm rulers and templates.
I am trying a out a new manufacturer of thread and was able to get samples of all the Wonderfil threads in either cones or spools. I can’t wait to load some fabric and try out all the new threads! I already use their Invisafil Thread. So many threads, so little time!
