This quilt took Ideal Stitches in a whole new direction.  This was a very loved and very warn quilt.  The customer requested that random patches be sewn on with a raw edge applique technique so they could fray.  At first I was a little unsure about the project and how it would look but as I worked on it, I liked it more and more.  Now I love the shabby chic look of the quilt and I think it looks ever better than the whole cloth quilt it was before.
