This quilt started with a bag of T-shirts and the instructions to use black and gray on the quilt. I designed a layout that added in a few pieced blocks and T-shirt backs. It wasn’t until I had sewed the top together I noticed that the T-shirt blocks numbered 23 and that was the softball players number also. Too cool.
