This quilt was made for a grandson who likes to keep it simple. Three pieced square blocks on a gray background were about as simple as it gets. But we can’t stop there. I added straight lines horizontally and vertically to make a square pattern and then went diagonal to highlight the pieced area. Look how incredible it turned out on the minke backing.
