Now I can cross hand quilting off my bucket list.  This is one of my own quilts featuring paper piecing, machine stitch in the ditch and hand quilting.   I loaded this quilt on my frame horizontally and was able to do the hand quilting as soon as I finished the machine stitching.  The thick contrasting thread is bold and gives great contrast to the thin matching ditch thread.  Even though it is just a straight running stitch, it still took two days to do the hand work.  I am very pleased with the result and appreciate my longarm machine even more now.
